Coleson
Soon to be Mr. Dr. Elizabeth Rebecca Caroline Geddes-Bruce, MS, Esq.
Coleson was born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas, by a pack of straight-backed, high-chinned southern women. That pack of women was led by his mother, Brenda Louise Blackwell-Bruce, under the supervision and assistance of two great-grandmothers, two grandmothers, and two aunts.
But, boys will be boys. Most of Coleson's youth is under sealed record. Despite a miss-spent youth, Coleson could do no wrong in his mother's eyes, as he had never owned a street motorcycle, nor purchased any snakes.
At 19 years old, Coleson headed to California to purchase several street motorcycles and snakes. He spent the next five years at Cabrillo Community College, in Santa Cruz.
In 2001, he transferred to Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, where he majored in philosophy and minored in wearing dramatic scarfs.
After obtaining his philosophy degree, he spent several years searching for food before deciding to attend law school. Coleson attended the University of Texas School of Law, obtaining mostly "gentleman's C's."
After law school, Coleson was a judicial law clerk in for The Honorable Billy Roy Wilson, United States District Court, Little Rock, Arkansas.
For the past six years, he has worked as an associate lawyer at Baker Botts, LLP, in Houston. He specializes in negotiating business deals.
Coleson's crowning achievement to date is his continued stewardship of Waco - the world's best rescue mutt.
He loves Elizabeth deeply.
