Soon to be Dr. Elizabeth Rebecca Caroline Geddes-Bruce, MS

Elizabeth was born in Canada, and at one month old moved to Kingsville, Texas, where she was raised.

Her mother, Carole Geddes, persuaded/forced her to attend college at Mount Holyoke - the first all-women's college in the United States - located in Massachusetts.   Her mother's college advice proved correct (Elizabeth loved Mount Holyoke), and Elizabeth has feared ever since that Carole has never been wrong about anything, ever.

After college, Elizabeth moved to New York City, and planned to use her degree in art history to work at art galleries.  Instead, Elizabeth's roommate was making a last-minute application to medical school when Elizabeth decided to file an even-more-last-minute application to medical school.  Before leaving NYC for medical school, Elizabeth picked up a Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University.

Elizabeth attended medical school at the University of Texas in Houston, spent internship year at Harvard Medical School, then returned to M.D. Anderson for a residency in dermatology (where she was chief resident).

Elizabeth's accomplishments in medical school should be discounted, however, by the fact that they are largely due to the genetics passed down to her from her father, Jim Geddes (who is an internal medicine doctor in Kingsville, with an even higher mark: his patients have made him godfather to no less than twenty children).

Elizabeth's brother, Andrew Geddes, also lives in Houston.  Andrew is super rad.

Elizabeth recently began private practice in Houston, where, in addition to saving lives as an expert skin cancer surgeon, she can also make people look incredible, and feel incredible about themselves.

She does similarly at home.

Elizabeth has a "dog" named "Buppy."  It is not nice.  She loves him dearly.
